For the first time in the history of Pro Modified Drag Racing, fans of the action-packed andย awe-inspiring FuelTech NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Seriesย presented by Type A Motorsports will watch their favorite class of drag racing, during race day, on television. The ultra-competitive category will be featuredย during the primary Sunday broadcast of NHRA drag racing on FS1 and FOX for all ten Pro Mod races.

In addition to the existing 30-minute, in-depth broadcast dedicated to the Pro Mod category, the primary Sunday NHRA on FOX show will feature extensive coverage of NHRA Pro Mod competition in a response to the high demand the class has generated. In 2022, NHRA on FOX experienced some of the best viewership numbers the sport has ever seen including the biggest audience in NHRA history as the broadcast from the Pep Boys NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway averaged more than 1.6 million viewers with a peak of 2.8 million.

Three of the events featuring the FuelTech NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by Type A Motorsports will be on the FOX broadcast network, with the other seven on FS1, offering a phenomenal opportunity to attract new viewers to the categoryโ€™s growing fan base.

โ€œThe NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series continues to be a growing attraction at NHRA events and weโ€™re thrilled the class will have its biggest platform yet to showcase the talented racers involved and the incredible racing that takes place,โ€ said Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president and chief development officer. โ€œIt will also add another great aspect to our NHRA on FOX broadcasts, giving race fans a chance to see all the exciting action in the NHRA Pro Mod category on raceday.โ€

The FuelTech NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series also has a new presenting sponsor this season. Type A Motorsports, owned by Marty Robertson, specializes in buying and selling race cars, racing components and support vehicles. Additionally, the category has secured presenting sponsorship for each of the 10 events in which it will participate this season.

TELEVISED EXPOSURE

All events will be televised across the nation on some of the largest sports channels, including Fox, Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2. These events are often watched by excess of over 3 million viewers. A part from the aired races, brand exposure will be obtained through various media outlets covering these events as well as through post race interviews.

SOCIAL MEDIA EXPOSURE

Social media is one of the best marketing tools available, and a great way for like minded business to help promote one another. We plan taking and recording a lot of videos to share across our social platforms. This is a great opportunity for our supporting sponsors to cross promote and help keep their own channels fresh with new content. By cross promoting you will gain exposure to audiences that you have not tapped into, and help build your social media following.

Viewers can catch all the face paced action online through NHRAallaccess.com, which is enjoyed by an audience of roughly 15,000-20,000 people worldwide. Coverage of these events are featured across multiple media outlets including online news articles, press releases, and in print.

The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) is a drag racing governing body, which sets rules in drag racing and hosts events all over the United States and Canada. With over 40,000 drivers in its rosters, the NHRA is the largest motorsports sanctioning body in the world. Roughly 37% of all NHRA fans have blue collar occupations.
