Nick Bond was quite literally born into the drag racing world, with his dad, Justin Bond, getting his drag racing license just weeks before Nick was born. The new dad went on to win his first Wally the very same week Nick arrived (and yes, baby Nick was rightly given the credit). Since then, Nick has grown up watching his dad progress from the local track in Mission, BC all the way to the NHRA Pro Mod Racing Circuit.

Nick licensed and started racing Juniors the first chance he got, at just 5 years old. Since then, he has won 15 races, as well as Champion in the Junior Lightning Series and four Runner Up titles in Juniors. With his 16th birthday on the horizon, Nick is getting ready to make the long-anticipated move into a full-sized race car with his long-term goal of following in his dad’s footsteps and competing in the NHRA.

When he isn’t racing, Nick plays field and box lacrosse for his hometown teams, on his high school team as well as on an elite travel team for Pro Caliber Lacrosse which takes him across North America to compete. Nick has also recently developed a passion for golf and if he’s not on the course chances are he’s at the gym pursuing his dedication to fitness.
